Aha, a virus.

I took the kid to the doctor yesterday. He thinks that she has a virus, but thankfully is over the worst of it and should be getting better bit by bit.

There isn't really anything you can do for a virus except wait it out, but I'm still glad my mommy instinct was right on this one. So much of parenting seems to be a matter of trusting your gut.

Still no word on the job. If I haven't heard by Monday, I think I will call to see what's going on. They had told me they would call either way.

Alright, kid is in bed, so I should take the opportunity and clean up a bit.
