Vacation Highlights

We just got back from our vacation in the Big City. Some highlights:

• vegging in the hotel, watching Michael Phelps be amazing
• lunch with a childhood friend (Hi, Cath!)
• dinner and breakfast with friends we had previously only known online (Beth and Carl and Bryce, you rock!)
• stopping on the way back to have lunch with my old college roommate, who is sporting some new bling on her left hand (congrats, Deece! I can't wait till next summer!)
• Sweet Pea took her first step!! She did it a few times last night, and Daddy missed it every time. She was kind enough to repeat the performance tonight so he could see it, and even added a couple steps to her routine (three in a row!!). Go baby go!
